Collegiate recruiting professionals can certainly participate in Tulane Takeover events.
We encourage any organization wishing to connect with students for career related internships or post-graduate employment experiences to register to attend. Our focus for Tulane Takeover will be on networking with professionals and learning more about opportunities. To that end, we will not be able to host employment or staffing agencies at this event. In addition, if you have opportunities that are for part-time or contract work, we will need to evaluate your opportunities before confirming your participation.
This is strictly a networking event although students may have résumés prepared for referral.
1. Register to participate in Focused Career Conversations
Focused Career Conversations are 2-hour sessions whereby students can “focus” their networking efforts by visiting with professionals at a pre-assigned table in the venue space. Although similar in construct to a career fair, the focus is on networking and not just recruiting. Students will have resumes with them but they may not offer them unless asked.
We encourage recruiting professionals to identify any Tulane Alumni working at your company and bring them along as part of your team
